Issy is from Cairns and started coaching with Baseline Tennis Coaching Academy about two years ago. She coaches kids and assists with red ball tennis at Freshwater Tennis Club and CITC during holiday camps.

Coaching Qualifications

Although I don’t have any qualifications yet, I’m looking forward to starting my coaching qualifications next year.

When did you start coaching tennis?

I first started as a volunteer at the Freshwater Tennis Club, because I loved working with the kids. About two years ago I began coaching with Baseline Tennis, and I also work at the holiday camps at CITC.

I coach kids and assist with red ball tennis at Freshwater Tennis Club and CITC during holiday camps.

What do you love about coaching tennis?

My coaching style is all about having fun and enjoying the game, while helping the younger kids improve their skills along the way.

Favorite tennis memory?

My first ever Ace!

Favorite tennis player?

Roger Federer.

Favourite tennis brand of racquets and shoes?

Wilson racquets and Adidas shoes.
