Born and raised in Cairns, Lars started with Baseline Tennis Coaching Academy in 2022. He coaches Blue and Red ball kids and assists with the Orange Ball squads at both CITC and Freshwater Tennis Club.

I started coaching at CITC in 2022.

Who do you coach and where?

I coach Blue and Red ball kids and also help hit with the Orange Ball squads at CITC and Freshwater Tennis Club.

What do you love about coaching tennis?

I like making friends with the little kids to help them on their tennis journeys. My coaching style is relaxed and fun.

Favorite tennis memory?

I’d love to say playing Bullrush at Freshwater Tennis Club, but I ended up with a concussion doing that!

Favorite tennis player?

My mum!

Favourite tennis brand of racquets and shoes?

I use a Wilson racquet but love stealing Alwyn and Cooper’s Yonex racquets to hit with when I can. My favorite shoes are Vans and DC’s, though they aren’t great for tennis!
