Originally from Nottingham in England, Sam joined Baseline Tennis Coaching Academy in June 2024. He coaches blue and red ball kids twice per week at the Cairns International Tennis Centre.

When did you start coaching tennis?

I started coaching in June 2024, during the holiday camps.

Who do you coach and where?

I coach blue and red ball kids at CITC twice per week.

What do you love about coaching tennis?

I love passing on my knowledge and insight to younger kids who enjoy playing. My coaching style is technical and fun.

Favorite tennis memory?

Playing doubles in Rockhampton with my ‘stinky’ brother and going to Roland Garros with my family.

Favorite tennis player?

Roger Federer. He’s been an idol for my whole life, and I loved watching him play.

Favourite tennis brand of racquets and shoes?

Wilson for racquets because of Federer, and Nike for shoes.
