Tennis Australia Club Coach Professional.
I started coaching when I was 14 years old, helping out with the little kids at the tennis club where I trained. It started as a Saturday morning job and grew into more as I continued my qualifications, eventually going full-time in 1999 after finishing university.
I coach juniors and adults of all ages and standards. I love sharing the tennis love and am always happy to work with anyone who loves tennis as much as I do.
The greatest gift of coaching tennis is that people ‘choose’ to spend their time with me. There’s no greater feeling than being surrounded by happy people enjoying their time on the court with you, doing what you love.
There are so many, but watching my son make representative teams was a proud moment. My son and I also loved Andy Murray, so seeing him win Wimbledon was pretty cool too.
As a kid, I loved Andre Agassi for his grinding style from the back of the court, his swagger, and those awesome outfits. My son and I also loved watching Andy Murray.
I’ve been using a Head Radical racquet for over 20 years, and I always stick with Head racquets and shoes.
I was the captain of almost every sporting team I played for in school — tennis, soccer, badminton, squash and hockey. I wasn’t the best player, but I had the biggest, loudest mouth and was always the encouraging, positive type!
